Swiss Steel Group publishes white paper on high-strength spe-cial steels for high-tech applications
Swiss Steel Group is pleased to announce the publication of its new white paper entitled “High-strength special steels for high-tech applications”. This comprehensive document highlights the latest developments and innovations in speciality steels designed for demanding applications in the automotive industry, mechanical engineering and hydraulics.
The white paper highlights the outstanding properties of the high-strength special steels of the ETG® and HSX® family, which are characterised by their exceptional strength, toughness and excellent processing properties. The focus is particularly on the innovative ETG® 88, ETG® 100 and ETG® 25 steels, which are characterised by their high initial strength and superior machinability, thus enabling a significant increase in production efficiency.
“Our high-strength special steels offer the perfect solution for modern high-tech applications that place the highest demands on material quality and processability,” says Frank Koch, CEO of the Swiss Steel Group. “With this white paper, we would like to inform our customers and partners about the technological advantages and sustainable aspects of our products and at the same time emphasise our position as a leading company in the electrical steel route.”
As a pioneer in green steel technology and winner of the German Sustainability Award 2024, the Swiss Steel Group sets standards in terms of sustainability and efficiency with its products. The company produces special long steel and is able to supply completely stainless steel as green steel – a technologically sophisticated achievement that is unique in the steel industry.
The white paper offers valuable insights into the various areas of application and shows how high-strength special steels can contribute to increasing productivity, reducing CO2 emissions and increasing the service life of components.
